Warmest Holiday greetings, no matter what.

As Christmas approaches, I think about the expectations that often surround this season- merriment, close ties, and so on. Sometimes the expectations of the season alone can cause some distress if you don't quite "get there" emotionally. But life goes on, no matter what the season, and no matter what situation you're in, you can always find the good in it. Even if it seems terrible or sad at the time, there's always something positive, if you look for it- that can come out of it. You can even become a better or stronger person for the experience. Thank goodness for some of the difficult experiences I've had. No matter what, we as human beings seem to grow more out of difficulty, rather than ease. It's a strange, yet wonderful phenomenon, and sometimes that's the best Christmas gift of all.
